-what do I think of your learning revolution from a design point of view, well from a student's perspective I believe we already use technology like the internet to independently learn anyway, but I still strongly believe we need human contact when being taught especially in art and design. No computer today will ever tell you to look at things around you and take inspiration from the smallest most insignificant thing and make you look at things in new perspective.What computers lack where teachers thrive is in experience and skills that can only be taught in the physical world.Teachers also comment on your work and progress, can a computer give you a professional opinion of your work.Computers aren't that advanced (at least not at the moment) today,at the moment they are meerly tools that help us learn and make our work easier but there are many things that computers can't do that teachers can.Now whether you believe this form of learning should be free is another story.Realistically you would have to change to whole system radically. Your learning revolution has a flaw, that cannot work in today's society which is revolved around money.I believe this revolution sound a bit communist to me,free state,free education hmmm.
Don't forget that you would have to get rid of money completely in our society for your revolutionary utopian society to work.Free education, health care, free food, free clothes and everything else just isn't practical, where would you start.Capitalism and democracy has it's flaws too but it has proven that it works. Maybe one day in the future we might be able to accomplish such things but definitely doesn't look like your free learning revolution will break free from the current mental shackles.
